The Orono Foundation for Education and all of the Orono parent associations (PTO, OMSPA, SPA) partner on ONE parent communication opt-in process and FREE online parent directory for the entire district!
Simplify the Back-To-School Process
This gives parents a one-stop-shop for communications and prevents the need to submit your contact information to multiple school and organization lists. Our goal in collaborating is to streamline this process and make it easier for you and your family to receive the information you want and need.
Stay Informed Throughout the School Year
By registering, you are automatically opted-in to receive communications from your parent association (you will ONLY receive messages from associations relevant to your student’s school) and the Foundation. Don’t miss important insights into what is happening in school, classroom parties (PTO only), school events, and Spartan Spiritwear. Note: you can check the boxes to opt-out if desired.
Connect with Other Orono Families
This year, parents with an account will have FREE access to the district-wide parent directory online. The directory can help with birthday or grad party invitations, playdates/hangouts, holiday cards, connecting with the family you met during one of your child’s activities, or being able to find the number for that student your child always talks about. We are excited to help build relationships in our small community!
When you register, you can select whether or not you want to be included in the online directory and what information you want published. The directory is only accessible to parents who have an account and are verified with the Orono School District. The information provided is never given out to external organizations, and access is password-protected.
